(Mohammed) Hosni (Said) Mubarak - Biography, Egypt under Mubarak, Egypt's return to the Arab League, Mubarak and corruption

Propaganda of Egypt

Wow there is so much where should we start? Its almost impossible to find a starting point in the weeds of propaganda that grow around the current disaster that is the regime. To cut right to it, if you are within ear shot of government ran tv or news you will only hear what they tell you to hear. You will read what they say you can read. Honestly we a just a set away from being Iran. Before long if the keep at their current rate your internet will be shut down and you will be further kept in the dark. You see as you mind is broadened you begin to think and thinking with a clear and un fogged mind is something that is very bad to a corrupt government. You see you will start to get ideas and hopes and dreams you didn't have before you will find your self disagreeing with laws and you will try to make a change, and you will ask questions this will put the regime in danger of being over thrown.
Now an over throw of government is bad for business. If Mubarak is no longer waving his power over 80 million people, then what ever will he do? MY GOD! who will he rob? No worries he has robed you enough he is by far a rich man and will never have to do a real days work until the day he dies, nor will his son or his entire family, you see they have all gotten rich off of you hard work. You have set him for life like a king!
All hale KING MUBARAK!
All hale KING MUBARAK!
All hale KING MUBARAK!
All hale KING MUBARAK!

What will you loose?

What can you loose if you take just a few minutes to vote for change?
What if you have no job? what if you are broke? What if you are tired?
You have nothing to loose! I can assure you 199% that no one could do worse then the current "leaders" ....and I do use that word liberally.
Give it a chance, have your voice heard and vote for a change in Egypt. Vote for hope. It cant get any worse then it is now.

NO VOTE FOR YOU!

Did you know that if you are not physically in Egypt you can not vote? That's right Thank you Mubarak! Thanks to legislation passes buy the "Mubarak thugs you can not vote for the election if you are not in the country as an Egyptian citizen your right was stripped from you, Why?...easy, you will not be able to vote because the current regime knows that the 10-15 million Egyptian nationals will wipe the floor with their hides and usher in a new age in the history of Egypt. They know that all of you will have no fear of voting for who you choose would best suit YOUR county and that scares Mubarak and his henchmen.
Once again and unfair and illegal election will try to pull the wool over your eyes and further condemn you to silence.
This makes me mad beyond words. What in the world is going on here? What makes him think he can get away with this again and again?
Is no one seeing that there is nothing left for this regime to milk from it's people? There is no money left other then is in the bank account of Hosni, Gamal and the henchmen of the parliament. that turn a blind eye to injustice.

28 years of a regime

28 years is to long for any one man to rule a nation. It's like wearing the same pair of socks for 30 years, they get worn out and stinky and no matter how much you wash them they will never be as nice and fresh as they were when you pulled them from the package.
This is why you have elections, there is a system in place to bring in new fresh ideas, I mean lets face it Egypt has lost its luster and if old Hosni has yet to figure it out he never will, nor will his son! This is not the kingdom of Egypt it's the Republic!
Wiki defines a republic as the fallowing-
A republic is a form of government in which the head of state is not a monarch[1] and the people (or at least a part of its people)[2] have an impact on its government.[3][4] The word "republic" is derived from the Latin phrase res publica, which can be translated as "a public affair".

It also defines Egypt as-

The semi-presidential system, also known as the presidential-parliamentary system, or premier-presidential system, is a system of government in which a president and a prime minister are both active participants in the day-to-day administration of the state. It differs from a parliamentary republic in that it has a popularly elected head of state who is more than a purely ceremonial figurehead. It differs from the presidential system in that the cabinet, although named by the president, is responsible to the legislature, which may force the cabinet to resign through a motion of no confidence.

The term was first coined in a 1978 work by political scientist Maurice Duverger to describe the French Fifth Republic, which he dubbed a régime semi-présidentiel[1]

This being said, I invite Mr.Hosni Mubarak to explain exactly how he can call his regime a "republic"
as he has worked as hard as possible to "fix" any and all elections in 28 years so that he has come out be become the "winner".
That's correct I have no problem saying it. Hosni has rigged the elections, has thrown ballots in the sea in the trash or simply NOT COUNTED them so that he could keep his throne as "king" . Not only has he stolen from your pocket but he has lied and cheated to get his self there.

If only he would work so hard to fix the problems and the issues of the country, maybe we would not have to worry about how we will buy the food for our children!

The elections are neither free or fair, Mubarak and his partners dont want you to vote.. It is much easier for him to say 'Look! i win again!"
The current government wants you to be poor.
The current government wants you to be uneducated.
The current government wants you broken.
why?
Because you are easier to control.
The best thing you can do is to open your eyes to the world around you, educate your self and make your voice be heard, from the largest cities to the smallest village. Rise up and overcome opression, Take back your country and become the Egypt that the world respects and admires!

Get mad!

Salam alekome,

I want to talk about anger, there are a lot of different angers in this life. We live our lives to be happy, and love each other, but a time will come like now, a time when you have to get mad to make a change. Be mad if your vote is not counted, Be mad when prices raise, Be mad when men are thrown to the jail with out due cause, Be mad of the propaganda the state papers print. Be mad when you are silenced by the leaders of your government.
With out you there is no Egypt. The government should work for you, not against you. It is YOU that pay the salary to Hosni Mubarak in your taxes and your blood and your sweat. How can you stand silent while the man YOU pay to work for YOU steals from your own pocket? How can you stand silent while he paves the road for his son to take over his kingdom of drones?
The Egyptian is the most proud people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, but something has happened this great country is being taken to its knees by a tyrant who cares not for the people but for the money and the power he can milk from it. Only you can make the change. You have to talk and you have to scream. It takes 1 voice to start a chain. Are you mad yet?
MAKE THE CHANGE 2011!!

The quest for a new Egypt. and my background,

Who am I? Why have I started this blog? What do I want?

I am nothing more then a concerned soul. I married an Egyptian citizen and I fell in love with Egypt. Never in my life have I felt so at home then I did walking the beach of Alex. Talking with friends, laughing and enjoying the people of Egypt. I felt safe setting on my balcony watching the kids play in the street or walking with my husband. Much safer then here in the US. Sadly we could not stay due to the economy there was just no way to make a life for us there. So like so many Egyptians my husband and I decided to leave and come here.

This is why I have started this blog. I want the best for the country I call my 2nd home, for the people I love and admire and call my family and friends. I want my husband to write his views and the views of his friends and I want him to get mad of all that is wrong. I want change!!
